A tip if you are visiting San Francisco and renting a car: Bay Area has many toll bridges. You have two options – either buy the toll coverage from rental car agency (which will cost you more – you pay a flat amount per day) or you can create an account at bayareafastrak.org and register the rental car using its license plate number for the duration of your rental. Then you only get charged when you cross the bridges (pay as you go) and pay no extra charges.
